If you are having a hard time right now, the numbers below are the right place to start. Not this app.

That is the part that matters. You can stop reading here.

What SANKALPA-i is not

SANKALPA-i is a contemplative companion. It is an app for daily reflection. That is all it is.

What it is

A quiet place to say what is true today, and to be answered briefly.

It adapts to the time of day. It follows the Hindu lunar calendar. It remembers what you have said before, and it answers with one voice, in English, Hindi or Marathi.

It is a companion to a life, not a course of care.

About the traditions

SANKALPA-i draws on Indian contemplative traditions that are far older than we are. We present them as traditions we have learnt from. They are not our discovery, and we do not claim them.

We also do not stretch them. A tradition offers what it offers. Where a we make no promise about your health, whatever any practice may be said to offer.

Nothing here is guaranteed

People are different, and so are the days. What one person finds useful, another will not. What helped you last month may do nothing for you this month.

We do not promise a result. We do not promise you will feel better. What you do with anything the app offers is your own decision, and you remain responsible for it.

If you are already under the care of a doctor or a therapist, please keep following their advice. Nothing in this app should be used to change, delay or stop treatment they have given you. If something the app says seems to conflict with their advice, their advice wins.
